Trishul has two sections: The 90.5 FM stereo radio and television cable channel 20 & 71.

Trishul goal: to promote and preserve the values and norms of the Hindu culture which is why most programs Hindustani programs.

The radio is as it first started broadcasting in 1998 and one year later, the TV began its broadcasting activities. Trishul is located at 4 Flocislaan above a side street of the Avenue Duisburg.




Trishul offer varied programs at the Surinamese public. Besides the Hindu programs we have engelstallige - nederlandstallige and programs. The Trishul is great Reikwiedte of Paramaribo, Commewijne, Saramacca and part of Para.

Radio

Radio began broadcasting its first activities in June 1998. It can be heard on 90.5 FM stereo. Radio Trishul is very popular for its daily bhajanprogramma which is broadcast from 3:00 vm until 10:00 a.m. v.m. The collection of bhajan is very varirierend Radio Trishul order of days eg Monday Mata Bhajans, Hanuman bhajans Tuesday and go but as the Hindu feet door.Tijdens days there all day just turned off bhajans.

Besides the bhajans we applied our program statements. Which is daily from 10:00 u.v.m. until 13:00 u.n.m. and again in the evening from 10:00 p.m. to 3:00 nm uvm Here there are only old songs to hear Mukesh, Rafi, Manna Dey, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar, Hemant Kumar, Geeta Dutt etc. etc.




For teens (of course, the elderly), we have our new - Hits program, which every day from 13:00 unm broadcast. Besides the above programs we also Ghazals, Yaadien & Hits (this includes songs from the nineties until 2004)

Radio is trying to meet every one of the bhajanliefhebbers baitak gana lover. So everyone may make his / her needs fulfilled. Hence the varying programs.

Radio Trishul has recently launched a news bulletin. The news itself is presented by the announcers and this is done in Sarnami. Sarnami Why? Because everyone should understand what is happening in Suriname. Moreover, the current language Sarnami among the Hindu community in Suriname.

Content programs:

Matron Refreshments: Liveopbelprogramma on the Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday at 11:00 every uvm broadcast. The name says it all is a special program for mothers. Here the housewives in the studio and then they call in the live broadcast, and the announcer (s) asks questions like:

• What have you cooked / Ready Made
• What ingredients did you use
• Have you eaten
• Why the special court today
• Do you, your recipe with others (0 listeners

2 times a week we come with a proposition that has to do with mothers and housewives. Listeners can respond to this and express their opinion.

In this program, the wives or mothers give themselves a position in which the other callers to respond. Even if they have a good recipe they can pass.

Ram Ram Namaskar: This a program where a greetings callers live in the studio can bellenom their family, friends, etc. etc. greeting. This includes people from the Netherlands (other countries) who have families here and they want to greet aslook reversed.

Sun Suna: A quiz program, with an intro (or music piece) from one or two songs being played and the caller must guess which song this is from what movie and who has sung. This is also a liveopbelprogramma.

Tris-children's hour: the name says it all, a children's program, a quiz program in which elementary school children can call and answers to questions they are presented with the announcer (s).

Pyar To hona Hi Tha: A live opbelprogramma with a proposition. The proposition itself is indicated by a caller when the caller can respond and express their opinion.

This program is more in love, relationship and relationship oriented.

Sher Aur Shayeri: This is a poetry program. A reprogrammable allowing callers the opportunity offered to contribute poems to the public especially poems they have written themselves.

Dard Dil Program: A program for the Broken hearts. This is not reprogrammable. Persons who wish to participate must call in advance and specify the Broken Heart song they want to hear and possibly a Broken Heart poems pass before the announcer (s) during the program reads the wider public.

Kis mein kitna hai dum: A talent hunt program where people can show their vocal quality. Each week a winner (es). Each winner (es) gets 50 SRD. They will later compete for a joint number one place that will take place at the end of the year.
